Classes are no longer offered at Conackamack School effective immediately.

The new community center is managed by the YMCA in collaboration with Piscataway Township.
With regard to the martial arts program, please be aware of the following :
o Yes, Sensei Ray has been invited by the YMCA to still run the program !
o The program is being offered on Tuesdays 6PM to 7PM for New-White-Yellow, 7PM-8PM Purple+
o The program is also offered on Saturdays 8AM to 9AM for New-White-Yellow, 9AM-10AM Purple+
o Due to the on-going health concern and social distancing guidelines there is a limit of
20-student participation for the New-White-Yellow belt student level class and also a
20-student limit for the Purple+ belt student level class.
o Sign up early and ensure your spot
o Wearing a mask is required
o The YMCA requires registration using the YMCA website ... instructions below ...
o The program is on a year-round 8-week block cycle
o The program now has a participation fee; ... see YMCA website
!!! Important for Moms & Dads ... Please know that the YMCA offers a "fee subsidy program" for
families who are on a limited budget. You must come in to apply for / request the adjustment.
o The fee covers all classes for each 8-week block
o Cost for Uniforms, Patches, Testing for Rank fees are extra and NOT included in the YMCA program fee.

Hannah.Thomas@ymcaofmewsa.org to see if you can jump in! Purple belt rank and higher, the High-Belt class is NOT advertised on the YMCA website, but is running. You must contact Ms Thomas if you would like to join. Be sure to inform her that you are a high-belt student. Otherwise you will be placed in the New/White/Yellow rank class.
