Following is the training / testing calendar for the month of December 2017.

Testing Schedule  :
o  Friday December 8;         Test for current Yellow Belt student to attain next rank
o  Tuesday December 12;  Test for current Purple Belt student to attain next rank
o  Friday December 15;       Test for current White Belt student to attain next rank

o  Registration forms for all the scheduled tests will be available at the Admin. Desk.  
     >  See Mr. Tony, Ms Julie, Sensei Tracy
     >  All students participating in a test must be at the dojo, dressed and on the line-up line by 6:45
     >  Testing begins at 6:50;  
     >  Lateness puts you on the sidelines; forfeiting your test and fee

Closed Schedule  :
o  Tuesday December 12;  CLOSED for New Students, White Belt, Yellow Belt students ONLY!
      >  Purple Belt rank students who are testing are the only students allowed on the dojo floor
      >  All other students can observe the testing but will not be participating in training
      >  Please be aware;  the Conackamack Winter Concert is happening this night, so parking will be limited
o  Tuesday December 26; Winter Break
o  Friday December 29;      Winter Break
o  Tuesday January 2;           Winter Break

Open Enrollment for New Students  :
o  Friday January 5, 2018 thru Friday January 12, 2018

Congratulations to Sensei George Maldonado on attaining the rank of Godan (5th Degree) in the discipline of NekoRyu Goshin Jitsu !  Sensei George was tested for rank by Master Moose Cates, and Professor Ernie Cates over this past weekend.  The testing took place at the NekoRyu dojo in North Carolina.

This attainment of rank in NekoRyu highlights a lifetime of technical training along with a deep personal relationship between Sensei George, Professor Cates, and Master Moose.

Look forward to Professor Cates and Master Moose coming to our dojo in the near future!

November is always a challenging month for holding martial arts class due to the many days of school closure and school activities ...

                                    Friday,     November 24 due to Thanksgiving Weekend

Remember "Your Dojo is always with you".  Find time to train on your own!

Get ready to work off all that Halloween sweets, treats, and calories !

Monster, monster THANK YOU to all students and families who donated to our Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser effort.  We collected $235.00 total.  Three wonderful, generous, caring parents helped on Halloween Night's class to generously donate $50 total to push the collection over the $200 mark.  Thank you so much!  Your donations will be sent to the Susan G. Komen foundation for cancer research.

It's Open Enrollment time.  Bring a friend or two or three.  Sign them up!  Open enrollment is Nov.3, 7, 14.

Class is CLOSED on Friday, November 10, 2017 (next Friday) due to the Teacher's Convention.
