1). Special CHALLENGE-Style class tonight A). RUN-Night B). Military-Operations-Style Drills and Exercises; Be prepared to get physical! 2). Next week is New-Student Open Enrollment A). Bring a friend, Sign them up! 1). Due to Piscataway Schools being closed next week (April 10-14) for Spring Break, Martial Arts Class is also CLOSED. 2). Practice ! o Find time to practice on your own! o Practice the things which are hard for you to do. Practicing the easy things does NOT help you improve > For example ... practice : o Hold the Plank Position with a straight body from your shoulders down to your ankles >> Start by holding it for 10 seconds, then do it again for 20, then 30 etc o Push Ups : >> Start by laying face down on the floor >> Place your hands directly next to your shoulders >> Have your feet positioned so that you are on the "balls of your feet" >> Tighten up your body, from your shoulders all the way down to your toes >> PUSH ! >> Slowly lower your body down to the starting position >> Do it again! o Doing ALL the small things successfully, and consistently, one step at a time, is how you move from one rank to the next 3). White Belt students aiming to reach Yellow Belt, you must be able to accomplish the list of requirements on this "Snap-Shot Answer Sheet" during the upcoming test in May. All of this information is also found in your White Belt Training Guide. We provide you with all the tools for success. YOU are the only one who can "pick up the tools and use them". 4). $20.61 was received in donations to benefit the Lukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thank you! |
