1). Current White Belt Students : Testing for rank tonight
>>>A. If you have not yet registered to test, and would like to participate in testing, you must come in and register at 6:30 pm!
>>>B. Lining up for testing will start at 6:45
>>>C. The first test tonight will be to remove your belt then tie it back on by yourself. So be ready! You will NOT achieve Yellow Belt Rank if you cannot tie your own belt.
>>>D. General testing begins at 6:55

2). No class on Friday 04/03/15 thru Fridy 04/10/15 due to Spring Break. All schools are closed. But remember, your dojo is always with you.

1). Sorry PMA Families ... Our class is cancelled tonight due to the Conackamack School Dance, which was moved from last week due to bad weather.

2). Current White Belt Students : Testing Opportunity on Tuesday March 31, 2015. You can register for testing that night, but you must be at the dojo by 6:30 PM.

1). Regular full class tonight : All Ranks

2). If you are a White Belt Rank student and want to test for rank,
> Testing will be held tonight, but you must register by 6:45
> The next White Belt Rank testing will tentatively be in June

3). The reason for moving the White Belt test to today is because
we have been "bumped out" of our night for this coming Friday
March 27, 2015. NO CLASS this Friday!

4). Purple Belt Ranks, bring your sparring gear. If you do not yet
have sparring pads, please order a set using this order form.
Pads are necessary in order to participate in sparring.

1). No Martial Arts Class on Friday 03/20/15 due to school dance at Conackamack . See you on Tuesday 3/24.

2). Missing in Action ... a whole bunch of Purple Belt Rank students who missed the special class on Wednesday 03/18/15. Seizing opportunities for increasing knowledge is the key to success. You guys missed a good one.

3). Awesome job for 7 Purple Belt students who attended.

4). Thank you to Nik, Mike, Mrs. M ... and other sneaky culprits who brought the cake. Thank you to Kia for creating and coordinating the very creative gift. I really did not want to "crush" all the hard work. Thank you to all for the "tiny notes" . ... This surprise earned you all 1-less push up on your test :-)

Special training class tonight. Purple Belt and Higher Rank Only.

7:00 to 8:30 PM Moms and Dads please be available to pick up your child at 8:30. Thank you.

Students, bring your own water or energy drink. There will not be any "water break" scheduled. Take a sip of drink as you need. This will be a "next level" style workout.

Bring your sparring gear. If you do not yet have sparring gear, you can place your order for the Basic Set ($30) by clicking here. If you prefer a thicker quality of sparring pads see Sensei Ray and it can be ordered for you.

Purple Belt Rank Students : You will need protective pads for sparring sessions. I have 1 set of the thicker quality pads for sale at a discounted price of $60.
The usual price was $85. I only have 1 set remaining at this price. See Sensei Ray if you would like to purchase this set.

The basic set is always available and can be ordered using the Equipment Order form.

For your safety as wells as the safety of your sparring partner, pads are mandatory in order to participate in sparring.

We've had a number of school closings due to severe winter weather, and class schedule conflicts with Conackamack activities. Hopefully you have been doing some training on your own.

1). Courtesy Reminder : Do Your Part Worksheets for February are due tonight. Only worksheets submitted tonight will receive DYP-Dollars.

2). Any Current White Belt Rank students : If you feel that you are ready to test for your next rank, please see Sensei Ray of Sensei Tracy tonight for a test registration form. White Belt testing has been re-scheduled for Friday 03/27/15.

3). Mentor Program Students : Reminder ... you will need to stay an extra 10-minutes (8:00 to 8:10 ish) for your training with your assigned Sempai. It would be respectful to know the name of your Sempai and show respect accordingly. Remember, they are helping you to be successful at PMA.

4). Special Purple Belt and Higher ONLY class on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 7:00 - 8:30. PMA has been granted an extra night by Dept. of Recreation. If you are a current Purple Belt rank student, this night is dedicated to your training requirements. This class will be helpful in preparing for the Purple Belt test in April after returning from Spring Break.

5). Due to a school dance at Conackamack on Friday March 20th, Martial Arts class will NOT be available. ... Sorry.

Sigh :( ... because of icy road conditions Piscataway Schools were closed ... therefore, Martial Arts class is also closed !

If you missed the workout on the beach in Puerto Rico this past Tuesday, today is another chance ... still sunny and 80 ... pool-side at the Ritz-Carlton, San Juan ... Special class on Judo throws into the water :)
