3).  Congratulations to Skyler Maldonado (Purple Belt) on his achievement of winning the 60-lb weight class of the Central Jersey Wrestling Tournament on Sunday February 28, 2016.  Skyler won in a convincing manner pinning his first 2 opponents, and "shutting out" his final opponent 15-0 for the championship.  Skyler's achievement is a bright example of what perseverance, hard work, and dedication allows you to accomplish.  Many (if not all) of Skyler's  opponents throughout the season were closer to 70-lbs than 60-lbs, but Skyler's "Eye of the Tiger" attitude and mental focus provided him with opportunities to have a winning season, and ultimately, win the championship.  Oss to Skyler.
